The school and your child…

Carmel: Christian School is designed to cater for the individual. We are not a ‘special needs’ school as regards Special Educational Needs but this can be discussed if required.
We are a school that takes your child and your child’s welfare and development as a whole person very seriously. We respect each child’s need to be treated as an individual and as a child. However, each child is encouraged to cultivate team skills and social development as part of the growing process. We provide a family environment where children can grow in the security of knowing that school is an extension of a loving home, not merely an institution driven by results and league tables.

Perhaps, most importantly, Carmel: Christian School caters not only for the educational needs of your child but also for physical, emotional and spiritual development.

Success for your child as God intended will only be achieved if the school, student and parents work in partnership.

Homework is sent home on a regular basis and we expect parents to assist their child and check that all work is done. Failure to do homework will result in a demerit and possibly an after school detention.

In this school bullying is virtually unheard of. If it occurs it is dealt with swiftly and decisively in line with our Behaviour Management and Anti Bullying policies. The school reserves the right to withdraw any child from the school who will not comply with the school standards of conduct.
We are committed to every child’s progress and we expect the best outcome for each child.
