what is a christian school?
The purpose of Christian Education is that a child may attain a position from which he/she can make wise decisions. The Bible says, ‘If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God…’ James 1:5
The child who has the correct relationship with God is able to discern and assimilate directly the accurate concepts, skills and knowledge that he or she requires, in order to face the world around them with competence and confidence. It is a widely held view today that a child’s education should include some reference to a faith or religion.
The biblical principle on which a Christian School rests is that a personal understanding of God is the only foundation upon which an education of real lasting value can be built.
